Comet Leonard (C/2021 A1 Leonard)

Here is an image captured of Comet Leonard. This was on Dec 4th around 4:00am from Northern Vermont. Roughly 70 subframe exposures, each at 60s. Orion RC8 scope with a QHY8L ccd camera, focal reducer adjusting the focal length to roughly 1250mm.

Great capture Rick and really good color and processing.  Thanks for sharing.  I have been working so much (13-14 hours a day) I have not had the energy to get up earlier to capture.     Thanks for sharing.

Rick, also thank you for using the forum.. it's been an up hill job to get people to use it.  It's not the prettiest software, but once you've used it a couple of times it's easy..

Yes, nice shot, Rick!

Comet Leonard is bright -- as in naked eye bright -- so now is the time for imagers and observers to check it out!
