Hi all, my first image from a remote observatory in Spain.    This image of the Crab nebula is only 3 hours of narrowband data taken with a 28" RC scope (A big one).    Shot with an FLI 16803 CCD camera through Astrodon filters.

The crab nebula is a super nova remnant with a pulsar at its center approximately 20 miles in diameter and spinning 30 times per second.    The Crab nebula is approximately 6500 ly from our solar system.
