Omega Centauri -Remote
Omega Centauri – imaged using Slooh Chile 2 telescope a PlaneWave 17” with Finger Lakes FLI Pl-16803 camera. This is 5 missions with a total of Luminance 200 sec. Red/Green/Blue 80 sec. each. Processed in PixInsight and PhotoShop CS6.
Fantastic image Ron.. only 200s in lum and 80s in R G adn B. Incredible. I wish I could do images with so little data. Even the data from Telescope live are 300s images from that same camera.
@terri The short exposure time available on the Slooh scope works best for bright object. No quite so good for faint nebula like the Crescent Nebula (NGC 6888).
